Art, as everyone is always saying, is subjective. Everyone has vastly different tastes and values. You could walk into a museum with your best buddy and walk away with entirely different opinions about which piece you liked best. Some folks despise abstract art and can find no meaning in an array of shapes and colors. Other people turn their noses at figurative art, thinking of it as amateurish and jejune. You might look at a famous painting like Starry Night or the Mona Lisa and wonder what the heck everyone has been on about. The way we decide what art is "good" and what art is "bad" is a mysterious process that most folks in the plebian world will never be able to understand.
But all that said, there are some things we can agree on, and these works of art may be among them. Whether they're hobbyists learning their craft, or opportunists trying to make a quick buck, most of us agree that we're not making space on our walls.
