A crazy, quasi-deserted place full of rapscallions, neer-do-wells, and ruffians. There are duels between warring families regularly, tumbleweeds rolling by, and a sense of adventure. Everyone is looking for gold but nobody is finding it. It's rough and rocky, yes, but it's also full of fascinating characters and its own sense of morality. City slickers may not find any sense in it, but it has its own internal logic, codes, and conduct.
