Grab ahold of that big hand there, and Iāll grab the little one, and together we can dial the clocks back to just about a decade ago, when lone wolf developer TouchMint released Adventure to Fate on the App Store. The idea was to take a dungeon crawling JRPG-style game and streamline it in a way that made it easily playable on mobile, both by way of the touchscreen controls but also as something you could digest easily in smaller chunks. The result was largely successful, if not a bit rough around the edges, as we noted in our original review. The following year a battle-focused spin-off titled Adventure to Fate: Battle Arena released, followed by Adventure to Fate: Quest to the Future in 2016 which took things back to a more exploration driven experience, and Adventure to Fate: Future Arena in 2021 which again focused on being more of an arena battler game. While weāre talking about clocks, that tick-tock pattern of releasing a more full-fledged RPG followed by a more combat focused arena battler means that the next Adventure to Fate game is set to be of the full-fledged variety, and that is indeed what weāll be getting with Adventure to Fate: Lost Island. Roll that beautiful beta gameplay footage!
It probably goes without saying, but this is shaping up to be the most robust entry in the Adventure to Fate series yet. Itās always been admirable what just one person could accomplish in their quest to create their perfect mobile RPG experience, but itās really remarkable just how much new stuff there is going on in Adventure to Fate: Lost Island. Much more for me to list, I donāt get paid by the word! You can read all about the nitty gritty of this one in TouchMintās developer blog in our forums, and for a great overview of the changes specifically in this new game compared to the previous ones, check out this post in particular. Also Iām sure many will be pleased to know that Adventure to Fate: Lost Island will be a paid premium game, and you can pre-order it on the App Store right now ahead of its March 1st release date.
