The last two weeks of school are always the best. If you're too old to remember what it was like, let me refresh your memory. Once the exams are done and the grades are closed, students get a lot of time to screw around. That either takes the form of going on a ton of field trips, playing card games during "study hall," or watching movies. If you're the teacher of young kids, there's nothing better than popping in a movie to get them to focus on one thing for over an hour. I have such fond memories of watching movies in class. For some reason my AP Psychology teacher showed us Moneyball. I don't know what that had to do with psychology, but it probably had something to do with his obsession with airplane books, which I totally respected at the time. Unfortunately, not all schools let teachers and kids hang back and let loose in June, and that's a darn shame.
