If you were ever taunted or teased as a child, there's a good chance your mom reassured you with this line: "They're just jealous." While that sounded inconceivable then, it seems much more cogent in hindsight. I remember I teased my friend in middle school for being in a Play-Doh commercial, but I was probably just jealous that she was on TV every day, and I wasn't!
